Founding Members Announce Formation of the Wyoming Trust Association

Recognizing the need to create a unified voice for Wyoming and to help support the state’s position as a top trust jurisdiction, members of Wyoming’s legal, accounting, and banking industries announce the formation of the Wyoming Trust Association this week.

Wyoming has several advantages including low taxes, innovative trust laws, strong privacy and asset protections, effective regulation, and a highly capable professional infrastructure. The WTA is membership based, bringing together professionals across multiple disciplines associated with the trust and estates industry who are committed to ensuring Wyoming’s reputation as a highly professional, well-regulated, and ethical trust industry. Founding members include Long Reimer Winegar, MHP, LLP, Rocky Mountain Bank, Teton Trust Company, Willow Street Trust Company of Wyoming, and Wind River Trust Company.

The Association will focus on centralized communication, thought leadership, and connecting opportunities for industry professionals and the families they serve. WTA will work to become a leading resource for the trust industry, allied professionals, legislators, and regulators and act as a significant voice for the trust industry throughout Wyoming.
